Four Season SHARKS
Take a BITE out of Hunger!
Monday, October 24th through Friday, October 28th, our students and staff will collect items for Harvest for the Hungry. This worthwhile campaign supports the Anne Arundel County Food Bank with all the food and money going directly to families in need who live in Anne Arundel County.
All next week, students and staff can bring in canned or boxed foods to fill the baskets in our Media Center. The most needed items are listed below. Donations of money (cash or check*) are a huge way to help since every dollar collected is equivalent to 8 pounds of food!
To make it even more fun, we are combining a few Spirit Days!
Tuesday (10/25) bring a dollar and take a STUFFED ANIMAL to school (it must fit in your backpack)!
Thursday (10/27) bring a dollar and wear a HAT all day!
The most needed items include: (please no glass containers)
- Meat & Chicken
- Peanut Butter
- Nuts & Seeds
- Dried beans
- Powdered Milk
- Infant Formula
- Canned Fruit & Juices
- Canned Vegetables
- Canned Soups & Stews
- Breakfast Cereal
- Rice and Pasta
*Checks payable to Four Seasons Elementary School—Harvest for the Hungry

Seeking Volunteers for Our Book Fair!
Dear Parents and Families,
The Scholastic Book Fair will be at our school October 3 – 7, 2016 and special Family Events are scheduled for Thursday, October 6, 6:00-8:00pm.
Volunteers are the motivators to help any Book Fair become a success. We hope that you’ll share with us your skills to help students discover the power of reading.

If you’re out and about, pick up a pack of baby wipes for Mrs. Schultz and the art room. I chatted with her today and she said her number one need is baby wipes.
